Liverpool Cross Challenge (incorporating the European Cross Country Championships Trials)
On Saturday 25th November, 3 of the clubs U20 men travelled to Sefton Park in Liverpool to compete in the Cross Challenge, which also included the European Cross Country Trials. With places on the British team for the European Cross Country Championships up for grabs and a record number of entries the pace in this 6.7km race was very fast from the off.
The weather was very cold and as you can see from the photos the course extremely muddy. All 3 MKDP athletes had great runs coming in - Alfred Yabsley 41st 22.39. George Wheeler 51st 22.50.
