Sophie Jacobs: back on the track
On 11 April Sophie Jacobs raced the 1500 metres at the RightTrack Season Opener in Nuneaton. She came 9th in a time of 5:03.97.
Sophie had this to say about her race: ‘I thought that my race went quite well, considering I haven't raced properly in over a year. Before the race I was well prepared, mentally and physically. My race went out faster than I had been aiming for; however, in my next few races I'll have a better understanding of the pace I'm aiming for and I will learn from this race. I was slightly disappointed right after my race, but now that I've had time to reflect on it, I’m happy with how I ran. It was good to finally be back racing.’
