As Track season ends so Cross Country Begins

With most of our athletes having completed their summer track season, it’s time to look forward to a great Cross Country (XC) season, with the start of our new club making it all the more exciting. The hard work and achievements made over the track season give hope now for some great results. This Saturday we were back training at one of our favourite venues, Willen Lake Peace Pagoda. Always a lovely setting and even nicer when the sun shines!

We will launch the club at the MK parkrun on 16th September, so please come along and encourage any friends, family and potential newbies to join. Don't forget you must register for the parkrun itself and bring your barcode on the day (you only have to register once). We will also be having a picnic after the race, details to follow.

After that we kick off XC with the Squeaky Bone relays on 1st October - link- https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ui=2&ik=c000508e82&view=att&th=15e00e2150de6a52&attid=0.1&disp=safe&zw Our teams are being organised by Rachel Sanders, if you haven't entered yet, get in touch.

The Chiltern league XC 5 race series starts on the 15th October at Oxford, details to follow.
