Charlotte Cooke was giving our new MKDP vest a trial today at the Great North 5k here is her race report.
It was an early 8.50 start and the conditions were good if not a little cold. 1000 athletes were running the 5k flattish race consisting of manly club runners of all ages, around the centre of Newcastle. The race started off fast crossing over to Gateshead via the swing bridge, with the finishing straight being the millennium bridge. It was a good race with little hills and thoroughly enjoyable! Our new club vest was comfortable and easy to run in I finished in 22.14 and was the 7th girl in U19.
Sounds great well done Charlotte.
