Mansfield XC relays
The ECCA Saucony English XC relay champs were held at Mansfield on Saturday. MKDP sent two men’s teams, two senior women, and Sophie Jacobs competed in the U15 girls’ race.
The MKDP men’s A team came 34th out of 144 teams, with a combined time of 1:08.17.800. Our runners were Ben West (5th in his leg, 15:22.35),Joe Morrow (7th, 16:25.20),Marcus Lovell (23rd, 17:30.95) and Mick Greener (34th, 18:59.30).
Our men’s B team was 77th, in a time of 1:14.26.150: Lee Adams (65th, 17:09.65),David Cruz Walma (78th, 18:51.95),Eliot Winter (92nd, 20:16.85) and Mintu Sidhu (77th, 18:07.70).
In our senior women’s team, Claire Hammett was 39th (10:57.95) and Anna Kofoed-Gregory 37th (11:48).
Sophie came 4th in her race and 5th overall out of 258 runners in a time of 7:08.75 – a fabulous achievement!
