Results from Stopsley Common Chiltern League match
Stopsley Common is a typical XC venue: on the top of a hill with no protection from the wind, which comes at runners from all sides.
The third Children League XC match was held at Stopsley yesterday. Four MKDP senior men braved the cold: Mintu Sidhu led the team home (29th and 9th male U20) in a time of 36:32, followed by Eliot Winter (85th in 40:42),Stuart Sinclair (126th in 43:42, 18th M U50) and Liam Bunn (201nd in 52:01). There were 353 runners.
The only junior we had running this week was Morgan Bunn, who was 11th in the boys’ U13 race in a time of 11:45.
Well done to all athletes who raced to win valuable points for our club!
